France takes out Scone Cup Guineas

Based in the heart of the New England region, Darley Scone Cup Carnival provided another weekend of high class racing, with over $2 million in prize money won over the two days. Newgate Farm were able to cheer home France from a last to first stunning win in in the $400,000 Inglis Scone Guineas.  With a nice soft run out the back following the favourites, Angland took his ride wide to claim victory.  France was one of two runners in the race for Equi-Ice team members, Peter and Paul Snowden.

Horse racing, although only lasting a matter of minutes, is one of the most strenuous forms of exercise and competition.  Whether a sprinter or a stayer, recovery is by far one of the most important factors, to ensure the horse can continue to train and race throughout the season.

Equi-Ice provides quality cold therapy for horses during recovery and right throughout the horse’s preparation.  Many well-known racing stables are using Equi-Ice week in-week out.  Click here to see testimonials from James Cummings and Team Snowden talking how Equi-Ice is a part of their horse equipment and the vital role it plays in their stables.
